Three-dimensional simulations of miscible porous media flows.
Amir Riaz and Eckart Meiburg
When a less viscous fluid displaces a more viscous one in a porous
medium, the interface is unstable and gives rise to viscous fingers.
These interact with each other nonlinearly. The figure shows an
iso-concentration surface outlining the geometry of the front.
