GEORGE MATHEW:

George defended his thesis March 8, 2006. After his graduation, George was a post-doc for Professor Igor Mezic for the next year continuing his research of microscale fluid mixing interactions. In February 2007, George is starting work with United Research Technologies Center.

When asked about his impression of the IGERT program, George says, "the IGERT CSE program has taught me how to use computational tools to gain intuition of various physical processes and thus motivate further theoretical explorations to solve very relevant engineering problems."
