MARC GRIESEMER:

Marc is a student in the Computer Science Department and advanced to candidacy in October 2008. He is working with Professor Linda Petzold and Professor Frank Doyle. His research involves the modeling and simulation of protein interactions in the endoplasmic reticulum of yeast cells.

In September 2007 Marc attended the Foundations of Systems Biology in Engineering (FOSBE) conference in Stuttgart, Germany. Marc presented his work on unfolded protein response during two poster sessions. Marc will also attend the 2009 FOSBE conference in Denver, Colorado.
