WHO SHOULD APPLY?

Interests

If you are interested in working in multidisciplinary teams to do state of the art computational research in one of the areas of: Complex Fluids, Materials Science, or Systems Biology, then the CSE IGERT Program is for you!

Academic Background

A background in one of the areas of the participating IGERT departments: Electrical and Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical and Environmental Engineering, or Mathematics is desirable, but not essential. Applications are welcomed from science and engineering majors in all fields.

Personal Background

  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency. IGERT funding is only available to US citizens or permanent residents. International students may participate in the IGERT Associate Program.

  • Ethnic Background/Race. The IGERT program is an affirmative action/equal opportunity program, which welcomes and encourages applications from all ethnic groups.
